It’s no ab-scam: The Magic Mike guys are back, and in the new Magic Mike XXL trailer — which you can watch below — it’s clear that stars Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer have been working on their moves.
In this first glimpse of the movie (which is due out July 1), Tatum’s titular stripper can be seen working in an industrial garage. But when we hear the familiar, thumping strains of Ginuwine’s “Pony,” he goes from welding to wilding out, busting out a slew of pop-and-lock moves. We then get quick glimpses of the Magic men at work, surrounded by flying bills and grinding girls.
There’s also barely a clue about a plot, and those connected to the project have remained relatively mum up to this point, although director-producer Gregory Jacobs does let a few things slip out. “It’s a road-trip picture. Mike and the guys get back together, and adventure ensues,” Jacobs tells PEOPLE, adding with a laugh: “They look incredible … Their shirts are off an appropriate amount, let’s put it that way! Truth be told, I never really got the rave about Channing Tatum. Even after seeing the infamous “Magic Mick” movie, I still didn’t connect with him. Then a few days ago, I saw “22 Jump Street” and I totally fell in love with him. Maybe it had something to do with the way he defended gay people with his lines in the movie. Either way, he might just be the sexiest stripper alive.

Juno star Ellen Page gave quite a moving speech when she took the stage at the Human Rights Campaign’s inaugural gathering in Las Vegas last February. “I’m here today because I am gay,” she told the audience. “And because maybe I can make a difference, to help others have an easier and more hopeful time. Regardless, for me, I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility. I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission.”
Frank Ocean
After a reporter questioned Grammy-winning rapper Frank Ocean about some of his song lyrics in July 2012, Ocean posted his thoughts on the subject on his website. He detailed the love he had for another man when he was 19: “I won’t forget you. I won’t forget the summer,” he wrote. “I’ll remember who I was when I met you.” Critics and fans applauded the announcement, but the rap community — not so much.
