The former footballer made his first foray on the enormously popular picture messaging service on Saturday morning from his luxury suite at the five-star Amanjena resort in Marrakech, Morocco, where he celebrated the milestone with 60 close friends and family members.
Pictured in bed and with one of his trademark sleeve tattoos on full display, Beckham is at his brooding best as he gazes into the camera lens. Captioning the shot, he wrote: ‘Good morning and hello! It’s great to finally be on Instagram, been a long time coming but I can’t wait to start sharing all my special moments with you.’

The 47-year-old actor – who is dating model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – topped the national survey after beating the likes of David Beckham and Gerard Butler to the title with an impressive 24 percent of votes.
Ray Winstone, 57, came in second place with 18 percent, while Tom Hardy, 36, secured the third position with 10 percent of the votes.
Former soccer star David and Gerard came a joint fourth with eight percent, while Idris Elba followed closely behind with seven percent. (Idris Elba, a mere 7%?!?! Someone in that poll office needs to be strangled!)
Meanwhile, Prince William, Simon Cowell and Tom Daley found themselves at the bottom of the list with just one percent of the votes.
The Celebrity Manliest Man list comes as Men’s Fitness magazine and cancer charity Orchid have teamed up with The Bluebeards Revenge to launch a campaign to find Britain’s Manliest Man.

The ‘Bad Neighbours’ actor has topped heat magazine’s annual poll, knocking last year’s winner, Olympic diver Tom Daley, off the top spot and into second place, while retired soccer star David Beckham retained third place.
The magazine’s editor-in-chief Lucie Cave said website users ”voted in their thousands and selected Zac Efron as the hottest man alive”, explaining he secured top spot in the 101 Hottest Hunks list thanks to his topless appearance in ‘Bad Neighbours’ and having his shirt ripped off by Rita Ora at the MTV Movie Awards.
