Same-Sex Couples May Soon Be Able To Produce Biological Children Together, Scientists Say

g6Scientists say that same-sex parents may be able to produce biological children together in the very near future.

Researchers at Cambridge University and Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science claim to have found a way to create human egg and sperm cells from the stem cells in the skin of two adults.

Any two adults.

Two males. Two females. It doesn’t matter.

Using stem cell lines from embryos and cells from the skin of five adults, researchers engineered sperm cells, then compared the cells with those from aborted fetuses to see if the two had matching characteristics.

Lo and behold, they did! Continue reading

It seems the search for a new Mr Ideal Nigeria is on, because I’ve been getting lots of mentions on Instagram to like the pictures of hopeful (and might I add, well muscled) aspirants for the crown. I’ve been liking o. Liking, liking, liking – the pics ooo! Not the sleek, hunky models that make you wish you are in charge of makeup, clothes and any other job description that gives you an excuse to touch those bodies. #sigh

Anyway, here’s the picture from a recent mention. The dude is carrying a bulge for Africa, and I simply couldn’t resist serving it up as breakfast. Enjoy. But don’t thirst too much, hoes.Screenshot_2015-02-25-04-29-49

BEFORE I DIE: 5 (The Sex-Hunger Games)

????????????????????????????????????????????????????It isn’t Monday yet. I am still waiting for my first doctor’s appointment. Batman Mum has sworn an oath to make sure I don’t miss it, particularly to make sure I seek counsel, more precisely to ask the doctor the question that has been troubling her life since I was first diagnosed.

“How can I live with my family without passing the virus on to them?”

That is the question that has been causing her sleepless night. What Batman, sorry, Mum, want to hear from the doctor’s mouth is, “Bring out plate wey e go take dey chop… Bring out him own spoon and cup… No share bucket and towel with am… No dey shake am anyhow…”

That is her business though. I am not planning on committing incest or sharing shaving sticks with any family member, so I know they were safe. I have resumed living my life just like every other normal, cute, sexy queer dude. I have stopped feeling sorry for myself. I have become chatty on BBM, Twitter, Whatsapp, Facebook, Grindr, Planet Romeo, and – Wait for it – 2go. Yes, I’m on 2go too. Any questions?

My Twitter account is quite interesting. I don’t even chat there much; I just go to view pics, dick pics to be precise. Yaaaaaaas! I love dicks. I like them black, with yellow or red head. The ones with red head na the ish sha. Dick pics have gradually begun to make sense to me again. I am beginning to appreciate nice dick shapes, colour and sizes, like I used to. Then I saw this particular one, and I felt it. I felt the blood rush. I hadn’t felt it for a while, maybe because I had a lot going on, but the thirst was real this time. The blood was flowing downwards. I don’t even know when I started caressing my nipples. My cakes became softer, and the muscles around my ‘you-know-what’ was throbbing. I drew my briefs down to let Kratos out. (Yes! My dick has a name) Kratos was fiercer than I remembered. It’s like it was wearing a coat of veins or something. The muscles around my ‘you-know-what’ was throbbing faster, to no particular rhythm. It was just throbbing. That’s when I knew it was official. I WANT TO FUCK. I NEED TO FUCK. Continue reading

LOVE AND SEX IN THE CITY (Episode 29)

Blog_Love And Sex In The City 02When I woke up on that Monday morning, a week after the Sunday fiasco at Yinka’s place, I could hear Bryson in the shower. I remained lying in bed without moving, deliciously tired and content. There was a warm, wonderful glow inside me, and I didn’t want to move in case it went away.

I could see from the luminous dial of the clock perched on the nightstand that it was some minutes to 6am. And the glom of the dawn cloaked the inside of the room, not entirely hiding its unfamiliarity from me. In the two weeks since I began officially dating Bryson, last week was when I first visited him at his place, and subsequently began spending the night frequently with him, leaving for work from his bed. It was longer, more tedious commute, from Festac to Yaba, but the prospect of the passion expended on his sheets at night and the contentment that came from waking to his morning musk far outweighed the inconvenience of striving through the hectic traffic of the morning.

“You’re just in the honeymoon phase,” Yinka said when we talked on the phone on Thursday night, the third night I spent at Bryson’s place. “Everything with and about him seems so easy now, so blissful. It gives you the fortitude to simply breeze through everything else. Your parents could disown you now, and you wouldn’t mind. After all, you’ve got another daddy giving you what you truly need.”

I could imagine the impish expression on his face as he said that, and I roared with laughter at the imagination and his words. Continue reading

Michael Sam Knew He ‘Didn’t Like Girls’ After His First Time With A Man

The 2014 ESPYS - Roaming ShowMichael Sam recalled his history-making year as the first openly gay player drafted by the NFL in a poignant speech at the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) Time To Thrive Conference.

Crediting football as “his sanctuary,” Sam discussed coming to terms with his sexuality despite having grown up “poor, afraid and alone” while accepting the HRC’s Upstander Award at the conference, which took place over the weekend in Portland, Oregon.

“The people who were supposed to be there for me weren’t. I looked to football and sports to be my sanctuary,” he said. “When I got to college [I thought] ‘Maybe I will experiment — I will see if maybe I’m not gay. Maybe it’s a phase.'”

He then quipped, “But you know, after that first time, I knew pretty damn sure I didn’t like girls.” Continue reading

A Verse to Your god

shadow-ITTo the man standing behind his self-made pulpit

Spitting the words: “God hates faggots!”

I’ve never seen exactly

Who it is that you paperclip your knees for

To hold your hands together and pray to

But I think I know what he looks like.

*

I bet your god is about 5’10”

I bet he weighs 185

Probably stands the way a high school diploma does when it’s next to a SSCE certificate Continue reading
